Nicolai Kurth

Nicolai Kurth is a Member of the Management Board of Funk Versicherungsmakler GmbH and Managing Director of Th. Funk & Sohn GmbH. He is in charge of the Funk Group’s underwriting business, claims management and allocation management at the Berlin founding office.

Nicolai Kurth was born in Berlin in 1988 and studied law at Freie Universität Berlin and at Esade Law School in Barcelona. After completing his legal clerkship at the Kammergericht court, he joined Funk as an assistant to the Board of Directors at the Berlin founding office in 2017. In 2022 he was appointed to the Board of Directors of Th. Funk & Sohn GmbH, a year later, he became a Member of the Management Board of Funk Versicherungsmakler GmbH. Additionally, he has assumed extended management responsibility as part of the management team of the Berlin head office.
