Silvana Sand

Silvana Sand is a Member of the Management Board of Funk Versicherungsmakler GmbH. Furthermore, she is Managing Director of Funk-BBT GmbH and BauSecura Versicherungsmakler GmbH, two special insurance brokers for the property sector. She is also responsible for the Real Estate Division.

Silvana Sand was born in Kyritz in 1980 and began a work–study course in business administration with a focus on insurance at Funk in Berlin in 2001. After acquiring her degree, she continued to work as an assistant to the Funk Board of Directors and Management Board. In the following years, she was responsible for looking after and acquiring property clients in client support. In 2018, she assumed responsibility for the newly created Funk Real Estate Division. She joined the Board of Directors of Funk-BBT GmbH in 2013 and was appointed to the Board of Directors of BauSecura Versicherungsmakler GmbH in 2021. Since 2023, she is a Member of the Management Board of Funk Versicherungsmakler GmbH and has additionally assumed extended management responsibility as part of the management team of the Berlin head office.
