Lars Heitmann
Lars Heitmann is a Member of the Management Board of Funk Versicherungsmakler GmbH and in charge of financial lines.
Lars Heitmann was born in Oldenburg in 1967 and, after his insurance sales rep training, acquired a degree in law in Marburg and Mainz. After working for different insurers in Germany and abroad with a focus on liability insurance and special cover, the fully qualified lawyer joined Funk in 2000, where he assumed responsibility for the professional risks industrial area. He was appointed to the Management Board of Funk Versicherungsmakler GmbH on 1 January 2022 and has been in charge of the new financial lines department ever since. Lars Heitmann has also been a member of the Management Board of Deutsche Gesellschaft für Vermögensschadenhaftpflicht since 2013.
