Lars Thieme
Lars Thieme is a Member of the Management Board of the Funk Group. Mr Thieme is in charge of operations as well as managing the approximately 100 employees at Funk’s employee benefits companies, which he has expanded with great success.
Lars Thieme was born in Münster in Westphalia in 1972. After training as an insurance sales representative, he completed his degree in Economics and Insurance in Cologne. The qualified business economist started his Funk career in 2006. After working in several roles and areas of responsibility at the company, he was appointed Managing Partner of Funk Vorsorgeberatung GmbH in 2015 and became a Managing Director of Funk Pensionsmanagement GmbH in 2019. Lars Thieme became a Member of the Management Board of the Funk Group in 2021, strengthening the connection between the composite and employee benefits divisions; since 2023, he has also assumed extended management responsibility as part of the management team of the Berlin head office.
