Bernhard C. Schwanke
Bernhard C. Schwanke is a Managing Partner of the Funk Group and Managing Director of Funk Versicherungsmakler GmbH, Funk Hospital-Versicherungsmakler GmbH and Versicherungsstelle Zellstoff und Papier (VZP). He is in charge of sales management and planning for industrial clients, both at the offices and in the Key Account Division. He is also responsible for the healthcare segment and further developing trade association business.
Bernhard C. Schwanke was born in Freiburg im Breisgau in 1977, is a fully qualified lawyer and started out as a management assistant in 2005. After joining Funk, he first worked in various specialist departments and then in Sales and Client Support. The fifth-generation shareholder has been a Managing Director of Funk Hospital-Versicherungsmakler GmbH since 2013. He was appointed to the Management Board of the Funk Group in 2016 and the Board of Directors of Funk Versicherungsmakler GmbH in 2018. He has been a Managing Partner of the Funk Group since 2021 and Managing Director of VZP since 2023.
