Alexander Funk
Alexander Funk is a Member of the Management Board of the Funk Group and is in charge of digitalisation.
Alexander Funk was born in Hamburg in 1978 and is a member of the fifth generation of the founding family. After leaving secondary school he ran an online start-up for five years. He then went on to study business law and joined the Funk company after graduating in 2008. After working in different roles in the company, he took over overall responsibility for IT, processes and project management in 2014. After being a company shareholder for some years, Alexander Funk was appointed to the Management Board of the Funk Group in 2016, where he is now responsible for Funk's largest digitalisation project.
